School Community

School Community

At St. Margaret's we develop active learning partnerships with our families and the local community.

We acknowledge the role of St Margaret’s in building community and reaching out to the broader school community and beyond, to build diverse and inclusive partnerships for learning.

We forge strong links between the school and the community by providing opportunities to meet formally (e.g. Cybersafety parent evenings, Parents and Friends, Parent Representative Group, Information nights etc.) and informally (“Cuppa and Chats”, Fathers’ Group, Parent evenings organized by Parent reps, etc.).

The New CEM Wellbeing Strategy 2011-2015 provides clear direction to underpin the role of the Wellbeing Coordinator. Each theme Lead, Learn, Partner, is interconnected, with the wellbeing of the student at the core. It encourages schools to be OUTWARD FACING and to continue to encourage and provide opportunities for parents and the community to be an active part of the school life.
